Tachinid Flies

The tachinid fly's a parasite by
   Laying its eggs on an insect-like host;
From eggs come a fry which makes the host die
   By going inside and eating out most.

The larva when grown leave hosts they have known
   And drop to the ground on a long silk thread,
And lying there prone in brown pupa tone
   In 10 days become a black fly instead.

The tachinid fly I'm sure's justified
   But parasites seem to represent sin;
This insect whereby, with 2 big red eyes,
   Invades my senses and eats my within.
